Beyond Free Advice: The Professional Hour

JoomlaChicago is a great place to learn, but it's also a great place to scout for help on your projects! As soon as you go to your first JoomlaChicago meeting, you'll realize that a couple hours of learning just scratches the surface of the power of Joomla, its many extensions, and the professional services that help bring Joomla! to life.

JoomlaChicago's monthly meetings is a great place to make face-to-face professional contact with fellow members, including many of our presenters. You'll know rather quickly who can help you achieve what you need to get done, and vica-versa.

Transition From Free Advice To Professional Connection

While "free help" is great, and we all need friendly advice, there is a point in time where we all need the help of a paid professional. That's why we created the Professional Hour.

Sometimes, especially in the friendly confines of a user group, we need help to make that transition from awkward, hopeful (dare we say "needy") request for free advice to a decisive, determined, assertion that professional advice and counsel is needed to make progress on your project.  On the flip-side, as a Professional, there is a point in time when you may feel awkward, continuing to give away your valuable advice to someone in the group, no matter how nice they are.  ;)

Hey, let's face it, we've all been there. The Professional Hour is a perfect way for you to take the next step, and shift into "professional mode" without those wonderfully awkward moments.

Here's How The Joomla Professional Hour Works:

Each month at 1:30 pm, after our Networking Half Hour, for a small fee of just $75 paid in advance to JoomlaChicago, members have the option to schedule one paid hour of one-on-one professional help from another fellow member.

2. To offer your professional services fill out this form.

The $75 fee is divided between the Professional and the organizers of the JoomlaChicago Group. If you need more than an hour, contract directly with the Professional. Connections made! It's that easy.
