New JoomlaChicago Site Design Goes Live!

Hard to believe, just a few short months ago, all eyes were on Phil DeKoker to help us with Step One in our Site re-design: Migrate from Joomla 1.0 to 1.5. Ewww, ick. Ahhh, sweet memories. A BIG thanks goes out to all the folks who helped bring the new site to life. No, it's not done yet, and yes, we know, the JomSocial Community area still is rather a trainwreck from a usability standpoint, but overall, the new site is fantastic!

Without all the volunteer help from Robert Nowak, Joe Scarry, Mike Carson, Phil DeKoker, Kendall Cabe, Justin Kerr, JB Vanover and Monty Ksycki (photos going live next week), this thing wouldn't be where it is right now...

We're now ramping up "Phase Four" with re-engineering the usability of the Community Area, including JomSocial and our Forum. Our goal is to fully integrate (seamlessly) the JoomlaChicago Social Network, Forum, Blog and Commenting. There's some really, really cool software we got our hands onto that you're going to love!

This is clean fantastic design.

If Robert Nowak ever adds a template club to the rest of his business I want to be his first customer.

I L-O-V-E the new design for Joomla Chicago!

I keep discovering new aspects of it, as I click around to different parts of the site, and go about connecting with people in the Community section.

Great job, Robert!

Want to Comment? Great, but due to a ton of comment-spam (mainly by our friends at a certain boot manufacturer to remain nameless), you now need to be logged in to comment. We know, it's a pain in the butt, but no worries, it's free to register and you'll be glad you did anyways.
