2012 Topics for Palatine Meetings

Thanks for all of your input for topics for 2012! We would have liked to include more but there are only 12 months a year! If you don't see a topic you are interested in, check the other JoomlaChicago meetings for their list of topics. We also have some members that will hopefully be doing some webinars on some of the subjects you have suggested. We'll keep you posted!

With the new format, we will often be doing an overview of a topic during the main presentation and then dig down and look at customizing, implementing or other advanced techniques on the same or similar topic.

JoomlaChicago in Palatine

The JoomlaChicago Palatine Group is for all skill levels, with sessions for new and pro users of Joomla! Content Management software. Sessions are led by Joomla! users who are volunteering their time to share their knowledge. Our focus is on the "implementor", those of you that are doing the actual work with Joomla. Whether you're a designer, developer, writer, casual business user or an advanced technical user, JoomlaChicago-Palatine is for you.

Monthly LIVE meetings are what defines the JoomlaChicago Group, but between meetings, all are encouraged to participate on the JoomlaChicago Community. Sign up or Login to JoomlaChicago to get started.

Who Should Attend?
Everyone! New and seasoned users alike. All members of the content team: implementers, writers, designers, developers, administratives, and business people. Whether you are a non-profit, for profit or working on your own, the user group is the perfect place to learn more about Joomla and meet people that can help you grow and learn more! You're invited to come learn, ask questions, solve technical and business problems related to your Joomla-powered projects. Remember your business cards, as business networking is encouraged.  A wireless connection is available, laptop or mobile device is optional. RSVP required for an accurate meal count, but please don't be a no-show (bad karma).

Durty Nellie's Pub is across the street from Metra's Palatine train station, so travel to or from Chicago is convenient via rail. If you're driving, please park in Durty Nellie's free parking garage 'round back.
