Getting Started at JoomlaChicago

If you're reading this, you're obviously interested in what's going on in Chicago regarding Joomla's CMS. We've written up a brief introduction on how you can move forward within JoomlaChicago, to find out more about the software, about its members and leadership team.

Whether you're one who prefers one nibble at a time, or if you're ready to just jump in, it's your choice. Here we go:

Currently, the is no charge to be a member of JoomlaChicago, so there's no risk to give it a try. The good news is, the rewards could be quite abundant. Take a look, and decide for yourself.

A good first step is to head to the JoomlaChicago Forum (labeled as "Forum" button on the Main Menu). Whether you are a registered member or not, you'll have access to browse some of the questions and answers in the JoomlaChicago Forum.

Note: Beginners to forum-life, don't fret. It takes a little poking around to get the hang of it, but have no fear - you'll get it, and in time, you'll be "boardin'" with the best of them.

If you like what you see, or you're just curious, then register to be a Member of JoomlaChicago. There's no fee, and you won't get on a "mad spammer's" list, so don't worry. Once registered, you'll see that a few more interesting Community Areas will appear before your eyes on the Main Menu.
